Ready for a test drive of your knowledge?
Try a timed mock theory test, watch filmed road scenes, then spot developing hazards in two short simulated driving clips. Every question is original practice material, with a link to the relevant official Highway Code topic.
What would you watch for?
Choose one of two sample scenes, watch the real road users, then pick the thing you would pay attention to. These are observation exercises, not scored hazard-perception footage.
Road view
The road view was filmed in London. The pedestrian footage shows a road outside the UK; use it to practise observation, not UK junction priority.

You'll have 57 minutes for 50 questions. A score of 43 or more meets the real multiple-choice pass mark. Review your answers and Highway Code links at the end.
This practice set is not an official DVSA exam. The real car theory test also includes a separately scored hazard-perception section.

Spot a developing hazard
Watch the road scene. Tap “I see a hazard” as soon as another road user begins to create a reason for the driver to change speed or direction. Each clip lasts ten seconds.
These are original computer-generated road simulations, not real road footage or DVSA clips. Their five-point feedback is a learning aid and does not reproduce the official hazard-perception scoring system.
