Know the current rules
Car learners must book and manage their own practical test. DVSA allows two changes to an existing booking, and moves to another centre are limited to nearby locations. Read the current guidance before changing a date.

Read DVSA’s announcement ↗DVSA confirmed on 22 October 2026 that the maintenance planned for the evening of 22 October and morning of 23 October has been cancelled. The online booking service will operate as usual, from 6am to 11:40pm daily (UK time). Use GOV.UK to book or manage your own test and check the source for later service updates.
